Clean, affordable, and great for visual parts
PLA is a strong default for prototypes, models, organizers, display pieces, light-duty parts, and prints where crisp detail matters more than heat resistance.
Everyday utility with improved toughness
PLA+ is useful when a part needs the easy printability of PLA with better impact resistance for brackets, holders, shop aids, and general-purpose functional prints.
Durable parts with better heat and moisture tolerance
PETG is a good fit for functional parts, outdoor-adjacent use, containers, clips, covers, and components that need more toughness than basic PLA.
Tough material for demanding parts
ABS can work well for stronger parts, enclosures, and pieces that need better temperature resistance. It is selected when the part and printing conditions justify the tradeoffs.
Flexible prints for grip, cushion, and protection
TPU is used for flexible feet, pads, grips, bumpers, protective sleeves, soft-touch parts, and pieces that need to bend instead of crack.
